● Abdominal hernia
● Recent colorectal surgery
● Renal insufficiency (serious kidney problems)
● Diverticulitis (please note Diverticulosis clients are OK to have Colonic treatment)
● Ulcerative Colitis
● Chron’s disease


WHAT TO EXPECT;

Your first visit will consist of a case history consultation, and a full explanation of the procedure, followed by the treatment itself which will last approx 40-60 mins. You will be able to maintain your modesty at all times. Apprehension and nervousness on your first visit are to be expected, but these will soon disappear as you realise that the treatment is painless and discreet, and that the benefits are many and varied. You will be able to relax in a tranquil, ambient atmosphere with a professional therapist.

During this state of the art treatment which uses both pressure and gravity in a closed system with no electricity, warm filtered water is delivered using a gentle in-flow of water pressure with absolute minimum discomfort. The waste is transported directly into the drainage system in a clean and efficient manner. It is a completely clean and odourless procedure that is totally private. The therapist may perform a special abdominal massage during the procedure. Clients often find this massage to be deeply relaxing.

What to eat and drink before your treatment;

Try not to have a big meal the day of a treatment. A light snack if possible, avoid caffeine, alcohol and carbonated drinks.

What to eat and drink after your treatment;

You should abstain from alcohol, rich and spicy foods for at least 24 hrs after your treatment.
